Terms of Service
Effective from launch. Last reviewed: 2026-10-15.
1. Acceptance
By signing up for Bizzie you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any plan-specific terms presented at checkout.
2. The service
Bizzie is a business management web application for Australian home-service operators. It includes scheduling, quoting, invoicing, time tracking, and profitability analysis. Features available to your account depend on your subscription plan.
3. Accounts and access
Each Bizzie account belongs to one business. The person who signs up is the owner; they can invite additional members with roles of Owner, Admin, or Worker. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity performed under your account.
You must be 18 or older to create a Bizzie account or register a business. Team members invited by a business must be 15 or older. Bizzie is business software and is not directed at children.
4. Subscription and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly by Stripe in Australian dollars. You can change or cancel your plan at any time via Settings → Billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and your plan stays active until then; we don’t prorate refunds for partial months unless required by law.
Your plan renews automatically each month, and your payment method is charged again, until you cancel. To cancel, go to Settings, then Billing, then Cancel subscription. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We email you a confirmation when you subscribe that repeats these terms.
5. Data ownership
Your business data (clients, jobs, invoices, employees, files you upload) belongs to you. We hold it on your behalf so the service can run. You can export it at any time, and we will delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy after account closure.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload malware, infringing material, or content that violates Australian law.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access other tenants’ data, or probe for security weaknesses without a prior written agreement.
- Resell Bizzie to third parties without a reseller agreement.
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms after giving reasonable notice, and may act immediately in response to clear security or legal threats.
If you believe content on Bizzie infringes your copyright, see our Copyright Policy. Under that policy we suspend or close the accounts of businesses that repeatedly infringe copyright.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe), and unforeseen incidents can cause downtime. Credits for downtime, if any, are set out in your subscription plan.
8. Third-party services
Bizzie integrates with Stripe, Google Maps, Resend, and other providers. When you use a feature backed by a third party, their terms also apply to the portion of the service they supply.
9. Intellectual property
Bizzie’s software, design, and content are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the service as described in these terms. Nothing here transfers ownership of the software to you.
You are responsible for the content you upload, and you must have the right to upload it and to show it to the people you share it with, including your clients. Our handling of copyright complaints, including the repeat-infringer policy, is set out in our Copyright Policy.
10. Estimates, not advice
Cost floors, margin checks, suggested prices, price-review letters, drift figures, and wage, super, leave and GST amounts in Bizzie are estimates worked out from the data you enter. They are not financial, tax, payroll or legal advice. You decide the prices you charge, how you pay your staff and what you lodge with the ATO, and you should check important figures with your accountant.
11. Warranties and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Apart from those rights, Bizzie is provided as it is, without other warranties.
- Where the law allows, our liability for failing a consumer guarantee is limited, at our choice, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
- Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, revenue or goodwill. This does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, a breach of confidentiality or privacy obligations, or your obligation to pay fees.
- Otherwise, each party’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to loss caused by fraud, wilful misconduct, or a breach of confidentiality or privacy obligations.
- Each party’s liability is reduced to the extent the other party caused or contributed to the loss.
12. Indemnities
- You indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from content you upload, messages you send to your clients through Bizzie (including under the Spam Act and privacy law), or your breach of law or of these terms.
- We indemnify you against claims by third parties that the Bizzie software, as we provide it, infringes their intellectual property.
- Each indemnity is reduced to the extent the indemnified party caused or contributed to the claim, and applies only if that party tells the other promptly and gives reasonable help with the claim.
13. Suspension and termination
- You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a payment fails we retry it and tell you. If it is still unpaid 7 days later, your account becomes read-only until it is paid; your data is kept.
- We may close your account for a serious breach of these terms that you do not fix within 14 days of us telling you about it, or straight away for serious misuse such as fraud, attacks on the service or illegal content. If we close it for any reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
- If we stop offering Bizzie, we will give you at least 90 days’ notice, help you export your data, and refund any fees you paid for the period after the service ends.
- For 90 days after your account closes we keep your data and will give you an export on request; after that we delete it as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Promises in a written offer you accepted, such as a guarantee or a setup credit, continue on their own terms.
14. Changes to prices and these terms
We will email account owners at least 60 days before any price rise takes effect, and at least 30 days before any material change to these terms. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect and we will refund any fees you paid for the period after the change.
15. Disputes
If a dispute arises, the party raising it gives the other written notice and we both try in good faith to resolve it within 20 business days. If that fails, either of us may refer it to mediation through the Victorian Small Business Commission or the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman before going to court. Either of us may seek urgent relief from a court at any time.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Either of us may take a dispute to a court or tribunal with jurisdiction, including in the state or territory where you carry on business. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
